Landscape Design Options
A quality landscape begins with a creative design that fits a budget! Design services are offered to fit your needs, with options that all involve making sure you get the landscape you want. Feasel’s can be with you every step of the project, or help the “Do It Yourself” gardener. All arrangements for design services are arranged through the Garden Center at 419-423-4223, or email info@feasels.com.
Garden Center Consultation
A one hour appointment at the HELP desk with a designer can be scheduled for the do-it-yourself project and those smaller landscapes (i.e. front entry or shrubs around a patio). Bring pictures and measurements of the area to be discussed. A sketch plan, viewing plant selections and planning the next steps are included to share possibilities for the project. A $35 service fee is payable at the appointment.
Onsite Consultation
A one hour appointment in your yard offers you and a designer time to look and discuss solutions for a new or renovated landscape enhancement. Your needs will be matched with plants that work, plus design ideas for plantings, patios or other landscape features. This site visit will be followed with a sketch plan and budget range to be provided for your consideration of the next steps. A $75 – $150 service fee is based on the scale of the project, and is payable at the appointment.
Detailed Landscape Design Plan
Whether it’s a “do-it- yourself” project, or installed by Feasel’s, a professionally- designed plan will guide your landscaping. A “blueprint” to follow the step-by-step process, including a plant list, notes with details and phasing, and follow-up discussions for revisions, will insure the quality and cost are what you want. A cost proposal for plantings and installation will also be provided. Design service fee will vary depending on the scope of the plans, and will be discussed at the time of on-site consultation.

Installation & Construction
Want the best help to make it happen? Installation by the Feasel’s team can prepare the site, plant the trees and shrubs and finish your landscaping according to your plan or ours. Construction of hardscapes, including paver patios, pergolas and trellises, flagstone walks, decorative retaining walls, custom fire rings, outdoor cooking centers and decks for your lifestyle, complete your livable landscape.
Other services include:
- Irrigation The key to a lush, healthy landscape is proper irrigation. Our team provides complete irrigation system design and installation of many popular, proven brands like Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro and Irritrol. A site visit and plan are required for a cost estimate. Additional follow-up services include spring start-up procedures, system maintenance and winterization.
- Water features Create exciting seasonal sounds and interest as a focal point to any landscape. Rock waterfalls, a flowing stream or gentle fountain are natural attractions Feasel’s can build to your specifications. Spring start-up and winterization procedures can also be provided.
- Lighting Landscape lighting for special effects and safety can be planned and added in any landscape. Low voltage, energy saving electrical systems for walks, decks and colorful accent lighting for plantings and structures bring bright to the nights, all seasons of the year.
- Christmas decorations and colorful lighting themes are a growing specialty. Traditional or LED lights complimenting the greenery can be installed for the holidays, removed and stored as needed. Request a holiday plan and cost estimate early.
Onsite Do-It-Yourself Assistance
Need just a little help getting started on that do-it-yourself project, or follow-up assistance to make it better? Feasel’s can meet you in your yard by appointment. All aspects of landscapes from lawns and trees to garden renovation can be available. Other resources can be recommended for follow-up. Landscape Aftercare
The best landscape plan requires good care after installation. Customer support is a strong part of the Feasel’s motto, “Service You Can Depend On”. In addition to Onsite Assistance, our team is trained to get you help on a variety of landscaping and gardening topics, or can connect you with resources that can. Landscape Aftercare Services include:
- Lawn Maintenance A beautiful lawn takes the care of professionals to survive. At Feasel’s, we strive to keep our customers properties looking top notch. Mowing and trimming are just a start; spring clean-up, debris pick-up after storms and fall leaf removal can be part of annual lawn care contracts. Estimates on request for small or large properties.
- Fertilization Programs Proper lawn fertilization in our soils and climate is critical. Several packages of lawn treatment plans are offered to meet your needs. Customizing the plans or spot treatments mayinclude weed control, herbicides for fungal diseases and pest control and green power for turf to be proud of. Great care is given to environmentally safe chemical use on your properties.
